Amy Smart was an American model and actress. Amy Smart was born and brought up in California, America. Amy Smart started modelling in Italy. Her first role as an actor was in the TV production Her Costly Affair. The struggle she had to get an appearance on Starship Troopers, a film with mainly minor roles was very intense. It was difficult when she had to change between modeling and acting because models were not considered to be good actors, and they were usually granted smaller, insignificant roles. Amy was never discouraged. Her first part came from The 70s followed by Varsity Blues. The 2005 romance comedy Just Friends, which also featured Ryan Reynolds, saw her perform larger roles. Amy attained the fame she'd been seeking for over 10 years after her film, Just Friends was released. Amy went on to work in many of the greatest movies, including the Crank series starring Jason Statham as well as Shameless, where she played a recognizable character.
