Harry Edward Styles (also known as Harry Styles in the music world) is an British musician and a singer. Harry Styles was one of the first members of One Direction. Harry Styles was born in Holmes Chapel, Cheshire, England on February 1st, 1994, and is the son of Des Styles and Anne Cox. Harry Styles was a student at Holmes Chapel Comprehensive School. In the school, three classmates of his were part of a group called White Eskimo. They won the Battle of Bands 2009 thanks to their outstanding performance. Although he has an interest in music He also wished to become an attorney or physiotherapist. To provide for his children, he volunteered for an hour or so working for a local baker. The year was 2010. Harry Styles presented audition for The X Factor where he was a part of the performance Is not She Lovely by Stevie Wonder and was selected. This is why his band ended up splitting. Nicole Scherzinger, the jury part of The X Factor suggested Harry Styles join a band called One Direction with Liam Payne Zayn Mlik Niall Horan Louis Tomlinson and Liam Payne. Simon Cowell was the sponsor of this group, which started in 2010. The group sang songs such as My Life Would Suck Without You by Kelly Clarkson and Total Eclipse of the Heart by Bonnie Tyler so the group became one of the candidates to be the winner. The group finished in third place, just behind Rebecca Ferguson and Matt Cardle and won. Harry Styles, his group as well as Cowell failed to take home the event. But Cowell provided Harry Styles a 2 million pounds contract with Syco.
