Laura Linney

Laura Linney is an American actress, who is famous for her performance of powerful yet vulnerable character. Linney was raised in an theatre-loving family, with her father Romulus Linney was a playwright. She graduated in 1986 with honors from Brown University. She then studied Theatre Arts at the Arts Theatre School Moscow before receiving her diploma from Juilliard School with a M.F.A. which was located in New York City in 1990. The year 1990 was the year she started her Broadway career. She received praise for her roles in Hedda Gabrieller as well as Six Degrees of Separation.
